10. Aug 2026.
The Consul laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to the Serbian victims.

At Moholt Cemetery in Trondheim, on 5 August, Consul Marijana Ognjanović laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the Yugoslav prisoners who perished, most of whom were Serbs deported from Nazi camps in the Independent State of Croatia and across Europe to occupied Norway for forced labour on what became known as the “Blood Road”.

At Moholt Cemetery, the remains of 76 prisoners whose identities have never been established are interred in a single grave. Today, the memorial site is preserved and maintained by the local Norwegian authorities.
