In order to corroborate the identity and other facts related to the applicant it is necessary for all adults to be physically present when submitting their request for issuance of an emergency travel document. Emergency travel document is issued by diplomatic-consular representation in the case of a loss of passport and it only serves the purpose of travelling back to the Republic of Serbia. A Serbian citizen can travel with this document only once, one-way and exclusively to the Republic of Serbia. The document is valid for a maximum of 60 days. Once returned to the Republic of Serbia it is necessary to apply for a new passport. Documentation needed to support your request:

When submitting request for issuance of an emergency travel document for minors and new born children, whose presence is not obligatory, physical presence of both parents is necessary and they need to submit their valid Serbian passports or national ID cards. If one of the parents is a foreigner it is necessary for him/her to bring the relevant identification document. Attention: Documentation supporting your request for issuance of an emergency travel document for minors and new born children can be submitted by post. In that case all forms need to be signed by both parents and certified by a norwegian public notary. Proof of consular fee payment also needs to be provided. |
