WE WILL RENOVATE AND STRENGTHEN THE SERBIAN-LANGUAGE LIBRARY IN ALL PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN NORWAY

Ambassador Dr. Jasmina Mitrović Marić today presented the first 50 books to the Foreign Language Books Department of the National Library of Norway. They are intended mainly for children, as the largest users, and are a donation from the Children's Cultural Center Belgrade.

"We will carefully restore and enrich the neglected Serbian-language library to the joy of the Serbian community in Norway," emphasized the ambassador, dedicating today's donation to support a government program that has prioritized encouraging reading, especially among children and young people.

The Embassy of Serbia actively joins this government program by promoting reading in the native Serbian language among our diaspora. Our activities in this regard continue.
