SUPPORT FOR SERBIA’S YOUNG LEADERS
The delegation of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Novi Sad visited Oslo as part of its cooperation with JCI Innovation Oslo, with which it established a twinning partnership earlier this year during the JCI European Conference in Malaga.
The delegation’s first stop was the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, where the guests were received by Ambassador Dr Jasmina Mitrović Marić and First Counsellor Isidora Đorđević. In a workshop format, participants learned more about the work of diplomatic missions, the development of relations between Serbia and Norway, and the ways in which young professionals and leaders can contribute, through their organisations, to further strengthening ties between the two countries.
Particular attention was devoted to the historical ties between the Serbian and Norwegian peoples, as well as to contemporary forms of cooperation in the fields of business, leadership, education and networking. The discussion at the Embassy also opened the way for new initiatives and future joint activities.
The delegation also took part in the Future Leaders Academy 2026 programme, dedicated to the development of leadership and communication skills, intercultural cooperation and international networking.
During its four-day stay in the Norwegian capital, the JCI Novi Sad delegation visited a number of successful companies.
Direct contacts between young professionals are developing into lasting ties between organisations, business communities and, more broadly, between Serbia and Norway.
