MEETING OF ANCESTORS AND DESCENDANTS CELEBRATING STATEHOOD DAY IN DRAMMEN
Students of the Serbian supplementary school, along with children from nearby communities, gathered to mark Serbia’s Statehood Day at a performance where the only ticket required was a smile.

Through music, dance, and storytelling, the youngest participants encountered figures from Serbian history and spiritual tradition, learning about the values passed down from generation to generation. In an atmosphere of togetherness and warmth, the stage became a bridge between ancestors and descendants.

The Statehood Day program was initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and brought to life through the shared dedication and love of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Dečji kulturni centar Beograd, and the Serbian Cultural Center in Oslo—serving as yet another testament to the strength of community and the importance of preserving cultural and spiritual identity in the diaspora.
