The laureate of the Norwegian King and the Serbian President with the newly appointed Ambassador
The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Norway, Jasmina Mitrović Marić, received Saša Dimitrijević, a citizen of Norway and Serbia, journalist, publicist, and author of several books. Dimitrijević is a recipient of decorations from King Olav V of Norway and the Serbian Order of the Karađorđe’s Star, Third Class. For decades, Saša has been dedicated to researching the fate of our compatriots in occupied Norway during the Second World War. His work represents a significant contribution to preserving the memory of Serbian suffering and to strengthening the cultural and historical ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Mitrović Marić expressed her gratitude for his decades-long effort and dedication in collecting evidence that bears witness to the shared history of Serbia and Norway and recalls the strong bonds forged in difficult times, assuring him that his work will always have the support of his homeland, Serbia.
