GIFTS FROM THE EMBASSY TO SERBIAN STUDENTS IN BERGEN

A touching meeting between students and parents and Serbia’s Ambassador Jasmina Mitrović-Marić was held at the Supplementary School of the Serbian language in Bergen.

A nearly two-hour presentation of the achievements of our children in the diaspora was held in honor of the distinguished guest.

The parents ensured that the pleasant gathering continued with refreshments they had prepared. Teacher Sunčica Dinić-Kocev welcomed the guest and the parents and expressed her gratitude for the beautiful books and maps of Serbia featuring monasteries and historical landmarks that each student received.

The Ambassador personally met each student and presented each of them with a Serbian flag - a gift that delighted them the most.

She expressed special thanks to teacher Sunčica, whose dedication and enthusiasm are a credit to Serbian schools in the diaspora.
