ON THE CULTURE OF REMEMBRANCE AND COOPERATION WITH THE NORWEGIAN MINISTRY OF CULTURE - HÅKON VINJE AND ANITA KROKAN, OUR GUESTS

In an atmosphere of genuine warmth and friendship, Håkon Vinje, Special Adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Director of the War Graves Service, delivered a presentation at the Embassy on Serbian/Yugoslav memorials on Norwegian territory.
With due respect, we recalled the suffering of our compatriots in occupied Norway during the Second World War and reached agreement on forthcoming joint activities aimed at highlighting historical facts and giving this topic greater attention both in Serbia and in Norway.
The presentation and discussion were also attended by Anita Krokan, who is responsible for Serbia within the Directorate for Southeast Europe of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, further affirming a series of ideas for cooperation that lie ahead as we approach a shared anniversary.
